Successful improvisation requires a number of key values, including adaptivity, inclusivity, flexibility, variety of choice, supportiveness, and safety.

Adaptivity is the ability to change or adjust one's plans or actions in response to new information or circumstances. This is essential as things rarely go according to plan. Success depends on being able to roll with the punches and make changes as needed.

Inclusivity is the act of welcoming and accepting people of all backgrounds and identities. This is important as it allows for a diversity of perspectives and ideas. It is very important to create a safe and welcoming space for everyone to participate.

Flexibility is the ability to change one's mind or approach when necessary. This is important as there is often no one right way to do something. Be open to new ideas and change course when needed.

Variety of choice is the ability to select from a number of different options. Be able to think outside the box and come up with new and interesting ideas.

Supportiveness is the act of providing encouragement and assistance to others. Create a positive and collaborative environment. Be able to help each other out and make the experience enjoyable for everyone involved.

Safety is the feeling of being protected from harm or danger as it allows people to take risks and be creative.
